Local republicans have sold their souls to the TEA party and it's smallminded leadership. This reporter has attended 2 TEA parties and the AFIIG "airheads" run the show. Led by a "slophouse" cook(Brad Bentley) and washed up farmers Skeet&Don Workman the TEA party crowd are as useless as tits on a boar hog. Chris Winn is now being led around by his nose with Irene Howell's finger inserted in his snoot. Howell is a TEA party nitwit that has no knowledge of local government and is a known follower of Tom Martin,Paul Beane and Patti Jones. Lubbock voters are now prisoners of one-party government headed by Chris Winn,Patti Jones,Tom Martin and other big government creeps. TEA party proclaimed they were for lower taxes,less government and private enterprise. Local AFIIG jokers are aligned with higher taxes(Patti Jones),increased fees(Tom Martin,Paul Beane) and bigger government(UMC,Texas Tech). This reporter/conservative believes the hypocrisy of local republicans is a recipe for backfire that will leave voters with less money in their wallets and bank accounts. Local activists like Mikel Ward have even become pro-TEA party thus becoming part of the political problem and not the solution. Democrats and libertarians have sat idle for so long that opposition to these charlatans calling themselves TEA party republicans is so limited that LCR(Editor-Clif Burnett) has become the sole beacon of criticism of this new wave of phony conservatism being promoted by local republicans and their TEA party "clown brigade".
