I'm okay with that. There are places where federal rights and benefits are involved, and it would be nice if everyone were treated equally, regardless of state of residence. But recognition of LGB marriage or an equivalent will follow in most all states. (Dunno about Texas.) I do agree with the principle that most law ought to be state law.
